Marketplace connects adults nearby for member-to-member sales, free items, and trades. Member Shops gives sellers a public storefront for the same listings. These rules form part of our Terms.

What is available.

Browse by category, price, condition, city or ZIP; save items; message a seller; and arrange local pickup. Listings and basic shops are free in this launch. Mobile Residency does not process member purchases, hold deposits, provide escrow, arrange delivery, or offer purchase protection. An item in a shop is still a transaction with that independent seller. Originals remains a separate concept catalog, and optional support payments do not purchase marketplace goods.

Who can sell.

You must be 18 or older, control your member account, and own or be authorized to sell the item. Choose Individual or Business accurately; this self-declared label is not verification and does not determine your obligations under law. Businesses must comply with applicable licensing, tax, product-safety, disclosure, warranty, and consumer-protection requirements. Do not impersonate an existing brand or claim to represent a business without permission.

Honest listings.

Use accurate prices, locations, photos, descriptions, condition, and availability. Disclose material damage, repairs, missing parts, compatibility limits, battery condition, safety concerns, and liens or title issues for vehicles. Do not list items you do not possess unless you have authority to sell and can arrange the offered local pickup. Use photos and branding you own or have permission to publish. One listing represents one item or described lot; stock quantities and automatic order management are not available. Do not duplicate listings to dominate search. Mark items pending, sold, or archived promptly. Listings expire from discovery after 60 days unless renewed by the seller.

Allowed categories.

Road-living vehicles; power and solar equipment; build materials and parts; camping and outdoor equipment; and appliances and everyday road essentials. New, used, free, and trade items are welcome when lawful and safe. “For parts / repair” must clearly describe defects and does not make a prohibited or dangerous item acceptable.

Prohibited items and conduct.

Do not offer stolen, counterfeit, unlawfully obtained, or recalled products; firearms, ammunition, explosives, weapons, illegal drugs, controlled substances, tobacco or vaping products; live animals; financial products or accounts; digital downloads or services in this physical-goods launch; or hazardous materials such as fuel, filled gas cylinders, and damaged, leaking, or swollen batteries. We may remove products that cannot be safely offered under this launch. Check current manufacturer and government recall notices before posting. Do not evade restrictions by changing categories or wording.

Fraud, harassment, discriminatory abuse, misleading claims, fake reviews, spam, mass scraping, impersonation, account transfers, and attempts to bypass moderation or obtain passwords and verification codes are prohibited. Never describe an item or seller as “Mobile Residency verified,” guaranteed, insured, or protected unless we expressly provide that specific status.

Pickup, payment, and returns.

Before meeting, agree on the item, condition, total price, payment method, pickup arrangements, and any return terms. Inspect before paying and follow our pickup guidance. The seller is responsible for fulfillment and legally required refunds or warranties. Buyers and sellers handle their own taxes, title transfers, registration, and lawful transaction requirements. See Shipping & returns. Do not solicit advance deposits or steer members to suspicious payment links.

Shops and privacy.

A shop page is a storefront, not a seller certification. Use a city/ZIP area and general pickup instructions. Do not publish a home address, sensitive documents, or another person’s contact information. Listing and shop photos are publicly accessible, even when uploaded to drafts. Pausing a shop hides that shop and its linked products from public discovery, but does not erase prior conversations or copies of photos. Read our Privacy notice.

Reports and enforcement.

Use Report listing or Report shop to report prohibited items, misleading information, or concerning messages. Reports are private and may be reviewed by authorized operators. We may remove content, restrict marketplace access, or take other proportionate measures to address misuse. A restriction cannot be bypassed with another account. Contact mobileresidency@gmail.com to appeal a decision or report urgent concerns. Moderation is not a guarantee that every unsafe offer is identified. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

Likes and public comments.

Keep questions and replies relevant and respectful. Comments support replies and emojis; authors may edit or remove their own text. Use Report on a comment to raise a concern privately. Keep private contact, pickup and payment information in member messages. A like or comment does not verify a seller, endorse an item, reserve it or create an order.
